I had exams from the 15 June till today continuously with maximum of the 1 day gap between the exams and because of that I had not opened up my laptop for this whole time. I think last time I used my laptop was 12 June and just shut it down normally and kept on the table which I keep it. But now today when I tried to turn on the laptop it didn’t turn on so, I thought it’s should be battery issue so I plugged in the charger and I realised that the charging light is turning on. This made me panic. I have also checked that the charger and the power socket is fine. I have tried to power reset the laptop too. But still now the situation is laptop is connected to charger for at least 1 hour and there is not charging light and the laptop don’t turn on. I have the hp 15s du2007tu laptop. Can someone suggest some trouble shooting measures.
Is there any light on the power button when you tries to power on?
If you can see the light but a blank screen, kindly check with the brightness shortcut button on the keyboard. It happen sometimes that we may have turned the brightness level to 0 and it may cause panic thinking the laptop is dead.
Also, try holding down the button for 15-30 seconds and see whether it work.

I had called the technician he said something like he will reset the bios and everything will most probably be sorted.
Had a similar issue. My laptop battery was removable, so I removed the laptop battery and directly plugged my charger to the laptop and tried turning on the laptop.
It was working, so I understood issue was with the battery…
Since you have contacted the technician, it is better to wait for him 
I will have to go to him. Or I’m thinking of calling up the guy from the urban company to repair the laptop.
I believe the laptop isn’t getting booted right.
This had happened to me years ago for one of my older laptops.
The techie got a pen drive with a new OS and BIOS version, had to hard reset my device.
There was no way to back it up 
I know how often laptop get problems and need to be reset. So, I have backed up literally everything. All my codes are on github.

I called him today and he said he is not In the shop but I can come to the shop and leave the laptop with the helper but I instead decided to go tomorrow.
Yay, my laptop repaired but i had to sit like 6 hours at the shop to repair the laptop because there was a huge rush at the laptop repair shop. i don’t know but he just took out the battery and the laptop worked.
