# Delay in UPI Payment request

Hi @Shawnpinto I am facing delay in UPI payment request from third party/merchants. It is taking around 45 sec to get the payment notification on app. Which is not acceptable. As the request getting timed out on payment page sometimes. Kindly look into it.

@niranjan_kumar You’re right, It shouldn’t take this long.  
Is this happening for all your payment requests or was it a 1-time occurrence?
