Debit Card Source Bank Name not showing on Amazon

I added my Jupiter debit card to Amazon saved cards but it was not able to fetch the name of bank. It just shows Visa. For other cards, it shows correctly like Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card, HDFC Bank Credit Card so for Jupiter also, it should show like Jupiter Debit Card.

Most probably the card bin in new so it might take some time to reflect bank name. Moreover imo it should show Federal Bank instead of Jupiter.

As its new to the market it may take time to fetch the details i guess… and it should show federal bank… Hope everything gets fixed when they release public version…

@goneo @otaku_leelu It should show Jupiter Debit Card only. What if someone has direct Federal Bank account, their debit card would also show as Federal Debit Card, if all neo banks parterning with Federal would show as Federal Debit Card, no one would know which card belongs to which account.

Another example is if in future, Jupiter launches net banking, what should it show on payment gateway page where it asks user to select their bank so it can redirect to bank net banking website? Federal Net Banking? Of course not, it should show Jupiter Net Banking as Federal Net Banking would redirect to Federal Net Banking, Jupiter Net Banking would redirect to Jupiter Net Banking.

Well what you said is right… but jupiter themselves claimed that we are not a bank and we dont claim to be a bank… the transactions and everything are done in partnering federal bank because rbi didn’t gave all permissions for neo bank… So it should federal bank… even upi transactions are done by federal bank… because jupiter cant clain themselves as a bank… so even in future net banking may done by federal bank i guess… time will tell

Talking about Debit cards,

Is seamless international usage active on the card, how much is forex gonna be(3.5%, right?). And I saw there is 5% rewards/cashback on the international transactions, true, right?

Yes… first 3 months international card benefits are 3.5% for everyone without the cap of 1000. Cap there is 5k

Sorry. I mean rewards are 5% against 3.5% mark up
