15k is too much for all in new reward structure

Hey, I want to bring in your kind attention that if you give 5% jewel credit only for not reaching 15k spending mark, it’s absolutely reward how much ? Like one spend 1k in Flipkart, he will earn 500 points, so actually how many points he will instantly credited? 100 or 50? and if he/she not reach 15k mark, he will actually get 100 or 50 reward points only which turns either 20 or 10 rs. value. Means you are giving only 2% or 1% value back and not 5% (though you are giving 5% reward points). As other companies offer 5% value back, who will go for Jupiter Edge+ credit card? Though, I am spending using Jupiter Edge+ cc for Flipkart, amazon, Myntra despite of having cc for Flipkart axis Bank cc, Swiggy orange and black card, Amazon pay icici cc which give 5% value back as your company is giving much greater value back (10%) atm. But giving 5% instant reward is not making any sense. You should atleast provide 25% instant reward points and 25% reward points at end of cycle instead of 5+45 structure which is confusing. Hope you get what I mean to say. I personally using Jupiter card and spend 25-30k per month but I still don’t like the changes you introduced. Thanks :folded_hands:

Thanks for you inputs. We have made this decision carefully and have share detailed clarifications over emails too.

You are right, in order to get 50% rewards, you need to spend a minimum of 15K in a cycle. 50% rewards was designed to ensure that this becomes the goto card for our customers for shopping.

5% rewards will be credited instantly and remaining 45% on achieving the 15K milestone on the brands mentioned in the 50% rewards category.

Additionally, any spends made in the travel category or others category to achieve 15K will continue to get 25% and 1% rewards respectively.

This might not be the most favourable change for low spenders. We are working to get something for the low spenders as well and might have some update before end of the coming quarter.

Utilities, groceries etc are now included to achieve 15k milestone? Somewhere i read they’re now included. is it true or not? Please clarify.

Few transaction types don’t count toward the INR 15,000 threshold which are mentioned in the list below.

  • Wallet Load - POI Funding Transactions
  • Real Estate Agents - Rentals
  • Gift Card Purchase
  • Gaming
  • ATM Withdrawals or Quasi cash spends
  • Cryptocurrency Purchases
  • EMI Conversions
  • Disputed or Reversed Transactions
  • Education Payments via third party
    apps
  • Any other spends which is not for the
    purpose of Personal/Retail use
  • For details / MCC codes, refer to T&C.

Utilities groceries dinning are included then? Or only brands mentioned in 10% category?

I have already clarified in the my last reply what is not included, rest everything is included.

What about fuel transactions? Would they count toward the ₹15,000 spending threshold?

Please see my message in this thread for the exclusions or you can refer to the T&C. Fuel is not excluded.
